Mr. Boynton has over 25 years of military, public and private experience in the field of accident investigation and reconstruction and has been recognized as an expert in his profession by many district and superior courts throughout New England. He currently serves as an active member and advisor to the Belknap Regional Accident Investigation Team (BRAIT), a specialized law enforcement team that routinely responds to serious or fatal collisions in the Belknap County area of New Hampshire.
He has taught all levels of accident investigation and reconstruction at the New Hampshire Police Academy, the New Hampshire State Police, the Belknap County Sheriff's Department and at the Kosovo Police Service School in Kosovo. His lessons included all aspects of accident investigation, but he is best known for teaching the proper techniques of collecting and preserving vehicle and roadway evidence, as well as how to create accurate scaled drawings.
As the founding partner of Northpoint Collision Consultants, Mr. Boynton will provide the same expert services that many police agencies, insurance companies, and law firms have come to expect over the years. While he has the training and experience to offer a broad range of services; such as the reconstruction of car, heavy truck and motorcycle crashes, he has a reputation of being at the top of his field in the investigation and reconstruction of car versus pedestrian and bicycle cases.
Mr. Boynton has reconstructed hundreds of collisions, most involving serious personal injury or death. As an active member of the Belknap Regional Accident Investigation Team, he continues to respond to active crashes to assist law enforcement agencies with their at-scene investigations and analyses of complex traffic collisions.

Mr. Lakowicz is a Board Certified Forensic Examiner and Diplomat with the American College of Forensic Examiners (BCFE). Mr. Lakowicz has been involved with accident investigation and reconstruction for over 25 years, beginning his career in 1979 when he was certified as a full time Police Officer for the City of Concord, New Hampshire Police Department. For more than 20 years, Mr. Lakowicz acted as the lead accident investigator for most of the serious personal injury and fatal motor vehicle collisions occurring in the city, while simultaneously assisting in the collection and preservation of evidence at these scenes. Additionally, he was responsible for generating forensic maps of the collisions for courtroom presentations. Mr. Lakowicz was first certified as an expert witness in accident investigation and reconstruction in 1984.
As a consequence of his keen interest in the field of accident investigation and his expertise in the area of evidence collection preservation, Mr. Lakowicz was promoted to the Criminal Investigation Bureau as a Detective. He was tasked with the responsibility of assisting the department’s Patrol and Investigative Divisions with the collection and preservation of all crime and accident scene evidence. In addition Mr. Lakowicz was assigned the duty of managing the department’s Evidence Division. As a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and DRE Instructor, Mr. Lakowicz augmented his investigative duties with the apprehension of drivers who were under the influence of drugs other then alcohol.
In 1995 the Concord Police Department recognized his accomplishments by naming him Officer of the Year. In the same year, Mr. Lakowicz received the “Looking Beyond the Traffic Ticket” award by the State of New Hampshire for his consistent performance in arrests for drunk driving.
After retiring from law enforcement in 1999, Mr. Lakowicz took a consulting position at another New Hampshire based reconstruction firm. He evaluated and reconstructed automobile, pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle and heavy commercial vehicle collisions and was promoted to a Senior Consultant over his 4-year tenure. Periodically, he returned to the Concord Police Department as an instructor in the proper procedures for collecting and preserving evidence at accident scenes.
Mr. Lakowicz has testified as an expert in the field of accident investigation and reconstruction in New Hampshire, Minnesota, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
