Travel - $75.00 per hour
Vehicle mileage is billed
at the authorized federal rate. Airline tickets, lodging, car rental, tolls and
other related expenses are billed at cost. Please call for a negotiated flat fee
for travel in excess of 4 hours per day.
Testimony - $200.00 per hour
Testimony at depositions,
trials and other civil or criminal proceedings. Unless otherwise agreed, fees
relating to appearances for testimony, including all other related expenses,
shall be paid in advance. A minimum examination fee of $400.00 is required.
Without exception, no examination shall exceed 2 hours unless an additional
$400.00 is paid at or before the time of the extension.
Forensic Data Collection, Mapping & Plots
- $1,200.00 per scene (includes data collection and color diagram)
Working and color
presentation chalks are prepared using field measurements captured by an
electronic total station survey instrument. The flat rate includes one 24” x 36”
color drawing. Additional 24" x 36" plots are billed at $75.00 for black and
white and $125.00 for full color. The creation of custom exhibits are billed at
$35.00 per hour unless otherwise agreed.
Clients are customarily
billed in two increments; $800.00 once the scene data is collected and the
remaining $400.00 upon the completion and submission of the finished color
presentation drawing. In cases where it is agreed that only data
collection is required (when only a working diagram is prepared for internal use
by NCC), a flat fee of $800.00 is applicable.
Low Speed Collisions & Fraudulent Claims
- $750.00 per case
The fee includes a review
of all materials and an assessment of vehicle damage through photographs.
Vehicle dynamics, impact forces, occupant kinematics, and mechanisms of injury
are identified in the finished analysis. For cases involving claims of a
suspicious nature, the foregoing is examined to determine if claimant
allegations and the purported injures are consistent with the alleged collision,
or if the damage was pre-existing.
Photographs & Processing /
Media Storage
Photograph reproduction is
billed at cost plus a 10% handling fee. Media storage on CD or DVD is billed at
$25.00 each.
